Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Tokyo, President: Akihiro Ogawa) Mono stationery brand series of erasable writing instruments has in collaboration with Friction (Pilot Corporation/Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Hide Ito), developed the MONO x FRIXION Grayscale series of popular stationery products for enjoyable writing and erasing that will go on sale at stationery stores and stationery departments nationwide from November 15th of this year. This is a limited quantity project. *Please contact your local stationery store for detailed release dates as they will be rolled out sequentially to stores.
This series consists of 5 products from the MONO brand, including mechanical pencils and ballpoint pens, and 4 products from the FRIXION brand, including erasable ballpoint pens and line markers. This marks the first collaboration between the two brands.
Grayscale comes in four colors: white, light gray, dark gray, and black, monochrome colors that harmonize with every scene for all users.
Unlike gray which is simply a lighter version of black (100%), Grayscale’ uses nuanced colors to emphasize the charm of each stationery item.
