Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Kita-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akihiro Ogawa) is pleased to announce that its “ippo!” series Anti-slip Easy to Grip Training Pencil has won the 2020 Kids Design Award, the 14th annual awards.
The prize-winning “ippo!” series Anti-slip Easy to Grip Training Pencil has an anti-slip coating, making it slip resistant even with sweaty hands, as well as a grip guide printed on the pencil, making it easy to hold and to provide the right writing pressure. The pencil was designed for schoolchildren, and was launched in autumn 2019. It enjoys great popularity for its writing pressure and ease of writing.
The special anti-slip treatment allows you to write smoothly with just a light touch, and the fine surface irregularities prevent your fingers from slipping when writing. While other anti-slip pencils may feel sticky or attract dust, this one feels nearly identical to standard pencils.
