Our Work System After the Lifting of the State of Emergency

Japan’s state of emergency, intended to stop the spread of COVID-19, has now been lifted nationwide. We have determined that even after June 1, a certain percentage of employees working at our headquarters will continue to work from home for the time being.
For commuting employees, we also intend to continue staggered working hours and avoiding peak times when public transport systems are crowded.

While we apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers and stakeholders, we appreciate your continued understanding and support.

Customer Inquiries & Phone Support
We have been handling phone inquiries since June 1 and will continue according to the schedule below for the time being.
Phone support hours: 10:00 – 12:00 / 13:00 – 15:00 (closed weekends, Japanese holidays, and company holidays)
We also have an online form for inquiries outside of phone support hours.

Our Handling of Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

In “Tombow’s Handling of Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19,” posted on April 24, we announced that our working from home period would last until Fri., May 15, but taking into account how the situation has developed since then, we have decided to extend it until Fri., May 29. Accordingly, we will also extend our suspended period of phone support for customer inquiries.

Response to COVID-19

Please note that where possible, employees working at in occupations or positions that enable them to work from home will be shifting to working from home from Mon., April 6, through to Fri., May 29.
While these employees will generally be working from home during this period, in cases where employees cannot perform their work without coming in to the office, measures will be taken to reduce the possibility of infection, including staggered working hours and avoiding peak times when public transport systems are crowded.
While we apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers and stakeholders, we will continue to remain open for business.
